Where is Funk City? Right now it is Salisbury, NC, but Funk City is a state of mind. It can be everywhere we play. The band is now a foursome. Their aggressive blues-rock sound is still right, but that signature sound is a heck of a lot tighter and a whole lot better than ever. With the recent personnel changes, Funk City Blues features two sets of brothers, and they have an unparralleled band chemistry. The second they hit their first notes as a band, they knew that they had something special; that one and only "it" factor that only few people on this earth have. Chobey Badgio's mean blues riffs and raspy voice fit right in with the sound of the band. Darrel Howard's guitar solos are insanely awesome. Don't be fooled by this man's laid back attitude; his playing will blow your mind. He is a true untouchable guitar master. Bassist Nick Badgio, brother of Chobey, lays down the low end. His bass playing puts the "funk" in Funk City Blues. This boy knows how to THUMP. Ethan Howard's drumming ties everything together and completes the package that people call Funk City Blues. Enjoy.
